Madhuri Dixit Makes Ex-Flame Sanjay Dutt Uncomfortable, Past Catches Up!
Looks like Sanjay Dutt is on quitting spree. After turning down two huge projects, Dutt has reportedly opted out from the multi-starrer as well...
Post Sridevi’s untimely
demise, daughter Janhvi Kapoor announced that Madhuri Dixit will fill in late Sridevi’s
place in Abhishek Varman’s next,
which is yet-to-be titled (earlier titled as Shiddat).
This is a Karan Johar project which also stars Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt. Sanjay Dutt was also on board the film.
With the recent
development, reports were abuzz that Varman’s next will reunite ‘90s ex-lovers Madhuri and Sanjay Dutt. But seems
like, Dutt didn’t want this to happen.
While many saw
this coming, whispers are getting stronger by the day that Sanjay has opted out
of the film.
Yes, you heard it
right!
A still from Madhuri & Sanjay's movie
Sanjay, who was
set to share screen space with his
Saajan (1991) co-star Madhuri Dixit after 21 years, walked out of the project and has taken up a web series
with Ekta Kapoor instead.
Well, after
Bhoomi, this is not the first film that Sanjay has opted out of. There is a
long list of films that he has turned down, like Omung Kumar’s Good
Maharaja, third instalment of
the Dhamaal (2007) franchise, Total Dhamaal and his good friend Lovel Arora’s Blockbuster too.
Infact there were reports, that when Sanjay
met another producer friend recently, he was overheard saying that the
multi-starrer comedy Bittu (Lovel Arora) was planning, isn’t happening anymore. He has opted
out of Blockbuster and the film is on the backburner for now.
Talking about
Shiddat, no official confirmation has come on this from Sanjay Dutt or from the
makers of the film.
But looks like, the reunion of ‘90s hot couple – Madhuri & Sanjay – is next to impossible.
